I have been to this location three (3) times. I love it proximity to the downtown area (heck its right in the heart of the goings-on in C.S) but the service is ALWAYS terrible!! Each time I go in and wait at the entrance, right beside the "Please wait to be seated sign" and no one seats me!! I usually go the bar area seating and gab a seat sine it open game. But then it takes about 15-20 min before anyone comes to take your order! So I get the mozzarella (Italian) nachos as an appetizer and about 2 beers later (30 mins, the 1st beer went down quick.....don't judge me!!) they come out. Let me note, this about 1600 (4 p.m.) on a Saturday and the place has more workers in it than customers, there are empty tables everywhere!! Ok, the nachos are OUTSTANDING!! But it's literally an hour after I seated myself!!! The chicken wrap I ordered came out about 15 mins later, it was blah. Also during my wait a lady comes in and orders water and the cob salad, after about 35 min or so, she is still sitting there drinking her water and reading a book! She gets up and walks out the side to Tejon Street, and goes on her way. 5 minutes later the waiter comes out with her salad and places it on her table, and looks around quizzically, "She is GONE dude" I say, the service here is just too slow!

Here's a tip for Old C's: 10 PM - midnight is the second happy hour. During both happy hours appetizers are $2 off and personal sized pizzas are only $2 each. Of course, pints are cheaper, too. Old Chicago has the best beer selection I've seen and decent food, too.

Old Chicago is Old Chicago. I'm biased towards the downtown location because it was the first O/C I ever went to and it hasn't changed much. Food okay, love the variety of beers available. Service consistently good. The giant cookie is great. Great place to watch hockey, the bar service is great.

  • Jack S.

The new changes are very unwelcomed. The best item on the menu, Buffalo Chicken Rolls has been removed. I orderes wings instead, now known as orders of Tall or Short. The "Tall" order has 9 wings. Yes. 9. For $11. They came out lukewarm. My server was pretty apathetic to my dislike of the new changes. The feeling I get is that this is no longer a fun neighborhood sports bar. Its just a corporate store front to nickel and dime their patrons. Beer selections are good, but usually some annoying trivia or bingo type game is going on in the evenings. I will no longer be going here, unfortunately.

Noticed a lot of bad reviews but from what I've experienced my time was great. I travel here for the two topping pizzas for $2 dollars, a fantastic deal! I order four of them along with a drink and I'm still under $10. :) the place was full so the wait was about 30 minutes, a waitress brought out little pizzas while we waited. I really appreciated that. I've had great service every time I've come and i enjoy this place. This has been my experience.

O.C. is usually a good standby for okay food, and not too expensive. It was actually the location of mine and my wife's first date official date. First thing we notice when we walk in the front door, there is a smell that is quite off putting. They were pretty busy, but not so busy they can't be keeping up on some housekeeping. We ended up with a seat in the very back, near the patio (which I didn't know they even had). The table upon being seated was sticky, and the one behind us had not even been wiped yet. That seat looked like animals were eating directly off the table, and remained that way throughout most of our meal. The area where we were seated had trash, sunflower seed shells, food, and who knows what else all over the floors. Fail #1. We received plates and silverware from a person, who was not our waiter. The plates had leftover food particles and one knife was completely dirty. Then, when we got a drink refill, the glass came to the table with some kind of goober stuck to the inside. Our server was very attentive and apologetic. None of this was really his fault, he worked pretty hard, the organization had failed him. Fail #2. Lastly, at some point, nearly everyone must visit a restroom at some point while eating out. I used the mens room to find it so disgusting and offensive, I nearly got sick. Paper all over the floors, dirty toilets, and the smell of urine was so strong, you could smell it even before you opened the door... I couldn't believe the people sitting (eating) near the door didn't just leave. Fail.. epic fail. I don't think I'll likely revisit anytime soon. Pizza was okay, server worked had, and was obviously frustrated with the setup the place left him to work with.

Great food, appetizers came quickly, Kayla was an excellent server and of course the beer selection was fantastic. Hit them during dinner hour and the food was still timely.

Ehhh...slow service tonight. Granted, it's a football Sunday night, but I've seen it much busier here and able to handle the impact. However, still overall great food and cold beer!

    (3)
  • Lindsay B.

The best pizza out here! It's the closest thing you're going to get to Chicago style pizza! That thick buttery crust reminds me of uno, the spicy pepperoni isn't something everyone has out here either. Wish the prices were a tad lower so we could enjoy more often but very happy I tried this place!

    (5)
  • Chris H.

I'm not really a chain restaurant kind of guy, but Old C's is probably my favorite of the genre simply because of their pizza and wings deal during football season. You get a personal size 1-topping pizza and 5 wings for $7 or so which hits the spot when mixed with football and beer. They also have the best tv setup I've seen in town which is why they won my business for the football season. As far as just eating here, the service is ho-hum and the food is overpriced. It's my favorite place for about 5 months and not at all during the off-season.

  • Jimmy W.

I'm not sure why there's hatred on Yelp for this location - I've been a few times and have loved it every time! The waitstaff has been attentive and helpful, the beer selection is hard to beat, and the pizza is always delicious, warm, and fresh tasting! For football games, it's not the best place in the world as once the bar area fills up, it's hard to find a table where you can watch the game you want to watch, but it's still worth going to! Prices are very good as well. Parking can be a little bit of a trick unless you've got luck on your side, but if you're on your bike or on foot, it's easy to find and get to.

I LOVE Old Chicago but I HATE this location. Full of women hungry idiots and the worst service ever. The food will always be as good as any other location but no other reason to come here. I sat at the bar when the entire restaurant was empty and waited 26 minutes for my beer and 45 minutes for 12 hot wings. I had to go find someone so they could break some change to pay for the parking meter. I was furious by the time I walked out. I always go to the Old C's on Powers and they just laughed at me when I told them about the service. Seems like they all knew how bad the downtown location was. The women hungry idiot part of my review is referring to the guys who have to hit on every girl walking to the restrooms just in case they'll give them and their sad pick up lines a chance.

  • Casey C.

I don't care what anyone says, this place was unexpectedly sweet. I love the Chicago style decor, lots of rich gangster wood and pub glass. The beer selection is beyond spectacular - anyplace that has a wall of fame for drinking all 100 styles of available beer is on my flippin "A+" list. And the pizza was like a Chuck Norris round-house kick to the face! The pepperoni's are the size of small baby's for god's sake! It was low-key, the server was great and the manager stopped by to ask how everything was. We had a large party and they were more then accommodating. I only wished that I lived closer, and I will certainly be visiting this fine establishment the next time I see one.

  • Eric D.

Waited for an hour for an 8" chicago-style pizza but food never came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they weren't THAT busy after lunchtime! Wait staff was okay but should have said out food is coming up but she came up 50 minutes later and said food is on it's way???? Really??? Literally walked out in this ridiculous restaurant and will NEVER, EVER COME BACK!!!!! They don't deserve any star at all.

  • Rachel M.

First, let me say just how friendly and professional the staff we had were. Both the hostess and server provided excellent customer service. The location is nice, especially for tourists like us. It's right downtown and walking distance to shops and bars. The food was decent, nothing really spectacular. I had a panini and salad, which was fine. The spicy fried pickle appetizer was delicious and my husband loves their pizza. The one complaint is the beer tasted a little watered down. Worthwhile option if you're downtown.

Sometimes you just expect crappy service from national food chains. But the Old Chicago in downtown Colorado Springs, CO just take the cake. The Bartender was alright, even i was ignored for a while standing at the bar, she finally came by and greet me. But the server was just horrible, horrible. Not only he didn't seems interested, not he didn't want to be there. But he got the order, but the order came out wrong, I haven't seen him for the whole time, I had to go to the bar to get some water then I had to back to the bar to get the order change. they won't see me anytime soon.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Old Chicago is a large chain with the bulk of their stores in OR, CO and the Great Lakes. After visiting dozens of them in the last decade it's no secret that not all locations are created equal. This downtown Colorado Springs location struggles with service, but does offer the same food the rest of the chain succeeds with. We were in town on a weeknight to watch the US women in their World Cup soccer match and struggle to even gain a refill on drinks. It took our waitress more than an hour to refill a Diet Coke. The slow service came with a poor attitude. Meanwhile, this is a fun location with ample TVs to watch games, drink beer and eat average deep dish pizza. If that's what you're looking for, you'll fit in great here. The pizza is nothing like you'd get at one of the local Chicago deep dish chains like Lou Malnati's or Giordano's, but for being in Colorado it works out fine and few complain. Settle on the fact this is a fun place to bring large parties or even a date and you'll enjoy every bite. We're just hoping you get better service than we did.

  • Martin F.

I mainly come here for the world beer tour. I haven't found anywhere else that can match their beer selection. Sunday's are pretty hard to get a seat during football season. You have to show up early or get lucky after a few games are over. The food is pretty good but I'm usually kinda buzzed when I get food, so don't take my word for it. the pretzels are really good. I can say that with confidence.

Horrible wait staff over the past few months. The pizzas have not been cooked through for last 5 times I've been there. It's a great location, and very convenient but the staff, including management have fell off somewhere down the way; this place used to be awesome and now it's just not enjoyable at all

    (1)
  • Molly A.

Our deep dish pizza had no sauce. Nothing. When it arrived, we didn't have any forks and one member of our party had ordered a salad. We waited for about 5 minutes for our forks and had to request a side of pizza sauce. The staff were generally unpleasant and our waitress dropped a whole tray of drinks next to our table. While waitressing is hard, the way that management dealt with it (which was to walk by our table while making jokes about the smell) was totally unprofessional. For an old chicago, the food and service were far below subpar.

    (1)
  • Genevieve A.

Came in for a burger after shopping. Place was deserted and gross. Waitresses were eating on the serving floor and shouting in the kitchen (Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive though). I got a burger.. Was great, except the extremely soggy bottom bun. My mother, however, got the pizza bar. I could hear the "soft" crust hit the plate. That stuff was OLD. We will not be returning.

I was fairly surprised to see so many subpar reviews on here, this place is great! I visit Old Chicago once or twice a year when we're in town racing, and I haven't ever had any complaints whatsoever. My most recent visit was during the Fan Fest event for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and despite the place being PACKED we still got excellent service and great food! I asked our waiter for recommendations on both beer (I requested something delicious, refreshing, and not-sh*tty) and food (being from Texas, we wanted chips and queso - which apparently isn't something that's too terribly common at a pizza place in Colorado), and he knocked it out of the park on both counts! I'm still not sure what beer he brought us (I did, after all, have several of them), but after he brought me one and everyone at the table tried it, pretty much everyone in my party ordered the same thing the waiter brought me; for food, he recommended what I believe they called "Italian Nachos", which I'd never heard of or tried before, but was absolutely freaking awesome, and everyone at the table loved it! Despite the service being impeccable, the manager did come by the table to see how everything was going, and just like the waiter he was also super courteous and friendly. Honestly, I've never been to another Old Chicago, and prior to getting on here today to leave a review I had no idea it was a 'chain' restaurant - I would've never guessed! I don't know why others seem to be dissatisfied, I can only assume that maybe it's just them, or that some people just are incapable of having a good time! This place is wonderful, I can't wait to come back!

This place stinks. Literally, it smells like there was a sewage spill in the building, and it carried into the restaurant so there's a permanent moldiness hanging in the air. As for the food...I got the tavern bites sampler. The veggies were old and tasteless, the cheese sticks weren't hot, and the pretzel bites were...not pretzels. They were wadded up pizza crust balls. :| My server was great though, and the server I had the time before that was too, but unfortunately everything else sucks to the point where I won't be returning.

I like Old Chicago. They have a great beer selection that is constantly rotating and have a great beer club. The pizza options are quite vast and although I do eat meat, I typically enjoy my pizzas vegetarian. Whether I sit at bar, or when I bring my pup and sit outside the service is always good, and have no issue bringing my pup a bowl of water. They also have a good amount of food options that agent pizza like burg, sandwiches, etc. Good happy hour and late night special almost every night.

Always cold delicious beer choices...but the employees and managers aren't sure about the yelp feature for checking in...so be aware. Ordered a large ale crust big apple pepperoni pizza..upon arrival to our seats the center crust was raw. We asked for it to be remade. It was returned, obviously put back in the oven..crust and outer cheese burnt so badly it was black, and the middle still raw. When we attempted to pull out a slice the pizza middle was stuck to the pan. The bartender called for the manager. He asked what was wrong I showed him a demo of getting a slice...I said it seems like they put it back in the oven, he said "well yes, to my knowledge that is what happened". I mentioned may not be the best culinary choice as all it did was burn the outside and the middle was still raw... He asked if we wanted another pizza, we explained no as this one was incorrectly made twice. He then said " well I will take this off the bill". I sure would expect that considering it was inedible and not worth the $24 they are asking for it....no consideration of taking care of our beers we drank while we waited. After that never saw him again, and other patrons told us how shocked they were about him being so apathetic to the inconsistent food quality coming out of the kitchen, especially with a chain restaurant. Would not recommend, from this experience, the Ale crust pizza.

Always amazing drinks, beer tours etc. Salads were great. Did not like the jalapeño pretzel. Won't order that again.

I didn't enjoy the consumer service from the bar tender. He wasn't attentive, didn't really seem to care my friends and I were there...not attentive at all...very preoccupied

My coworkers and I come every week. Sunshine is our favorite server, she takes such good care of us. She makes this place an awesome hang out!

  • Daniel H.

Slow. Repeatedly have to ask for items. Wrong orders, bland food (pizza is good!). Couldn't get anything right-I have the impression the front end is at war with the kitchen. This is the third time we've tried it...not again :(

I'm tempted to give a 1 star, but that would be throwing the baby out with the bath water. The service here is rather neglectful and slow. I invited friends to meet me, and they sat 15 minutes before being approached, and that was /after/ I tracked the waitress down myself to tell her we had new people in our party. The bigger problem? A female manager (I wish I'd gotten her name) accused my husband of giving his teenage sons shots of alcohol. There were no shot glasses on the table. The boys were drinking soda! The manager just said one if her waitresses had seen it happen, and she told my husband she could lose the restaurant's liquor license over this. My husband said he could go to jail, and he wasn't into that, and she could check our tab to see we hadn't even ordered shots! She walked away. Our waitress rushed over shortly after that to apologize. THE MANAGER HAD GOTTEN THE WRONG TABLE. Seems to me if you are going to accuse someone of an illegal activity, you better have your ducks in a row! Ask the waitress for the table number, ask the waitress to take you to the table, or, at bare minimum, double-check that you have the right table BEFORE making the accusation. Very unprofessional. I've been to three Old Chicago's in Colorado Springs, and all of them have bad service, and mediocre food. Methinks it is time to avoid this place.

Good service and great food! I love the gluten free options! Chris, my waiter from last night, was super fun, attentive and quick! Old Chicago is a good casual place to hang out, no attire is too dressy or too casual. It's my latest go-to!!

My fiance and I were celebrating the anniversary of our first date. We had eaten at another wonderful downtown restaurant but after walking around we decided to stop into Old Chicago for dessert. From the beginning it was horrible. The hostess appeared high and dazed. After being seated we sat there for 10 minutes before waitstaff came. We had begun to notice that the restaurant smelled as if someone had thrown up; it was disgusting. When cheesecake finally arrived my fiance took a bite and then we noticed a BUG on our food!! We had to wait for another long time to even find a waiter to report it to(during that time we took pictures).Needless to say we left. What a terrible way to end our anniversary. DON'T go to this Old Chicago; I will never go to this one again.

It seemed unnecessary to write a review about an old Colorado Springs staple, like Old Chicago but we went in last week after a very long hiatus and the place had completely changed. One of my favorites there, chicken parmesan, was no longer on the menu - that's ok, we'll order something else. Problem was, everything we ordered was AWFUL. They have completely changed their menu and food supplier since the last time we were in. From pizza to pasta to fish and chips, everything looks and tastes like factory food right off a truck or from a freezer bag. Very disappointing. I know the beer selection is the big draw here, but it's also known for family dining. This is Colorado Springs, great beer is everywhere! You have to have more than beer to keep customer's coming in. I hope the proprietors of this establishment make some serious changes.

This place is Great. $2 pints (good micro brews!) and $2 personal 2 topping pizzas on Tuesday nights. I recommend the Angry Orchard cider and getting at least TWO pizzas to start with. Wait staff can be hit or miss, but I request my favorite wait staff and it's a-ok.

Wow, this place has gone to hell. Had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. Ordered a pizza that was suppose to have spinach on it. The Pizza arrives with a bowl of romain lettuce on the side. No explanation. Waitress jacked up the order and we go thin instead of deep dish pizza. They brought us the wrong beer after a 15 minute wait. 10 more minutes to figure out they were out of the beer we ordered. Wouldn't bring anything early for the kids. Skip it, lots of place in the Springs.

So far so good. Just sat down and ordered and all is well. Our server, Amanda, is on the ball and pretty much predicting our needs. She is good! We sat in the back and it's quieter than up near the bar. After a delay in the kitchen, Amanda totally rescued the situation and brought us salads to ease the wait. The pizza here is delicious. Another successful birthday celebration! After tonight's experience, we are totally sold on Old Chicago!!!

We were in town visiting Colorado Springs. We were hoping to find a local restaurant to eat at, but found ourselves eating at Old Chicago. Our waiter really impressed us. He was very friendly, outgoing and checked in on us often. The food was good, just what you expect from a chain restaurant. Only issue was the noise level in the building. Sound definitely travels and amplifies in the dining area. There was a large group of teenage girls that arrived about halfway through our visit. It seemed like they were right behind us, but they were really on the other side of the room.

I read other people's reviews here and frankly can't understand what happened during their experiences at Old Chicago. So all I can do is relate mine. Went in on a Saturday night, approximately 7 PM, was seated immediately, Hostess was friendly. My server, Shane, arrived moments after that and took my drink order. After an appropriate time he returned and took my meal order. My calzone arrived hot and was delicious. Now is my time to complement my waiter, Shane. While I sat and enjoyed my drink and meal I was seated close enough to overhear, as he dealt with a particularly difficult family of four. At all times he was professional and accommodating, even while they belittled and berated him. At all times during this he was the consummate professional. Shane, if you happen to read this, you get my highest kudo's ! Remember people, sometimes being a part of a waitstaff can be the most degrading, humiliating, occupation around. Tip your servers !

Went for trivia on Wednesdays. The guy running the trivia had his friends over and they used their smart phones to cheat. When we pointed this out to them guy running trivia he told us not to worry about it. Then he told his friends that were cheating we were complaining about them. The night ended with they cheaters trying to start a fight with us in the bar with the wait and bar staffs support. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I will never go back there and I tell all my friends not to as well.

It's hard to review the food at this Old Chicago location, because we never actually got any. My party of 4 people visited Old Chicago for Saturday lunch, and we decided to split a pizza. We placed the order with our friendly but ditzy waitress, and proceeded to wait for our food, as one tends to do in a restaurant. It didn't come. Our waitress noticed that we'd been there a long time, and kept saying things like, "I just went back and checked on your pizza. It's almost up." And, "Food's almost ready guys!" After an hour, she slunk over to our table, and whispered that she'd never put in our order. She said she'd forgotten, and said that "She'd do better next time." She was being very hush hush, because it seemed like she didn't want anyone else to know. That was it. No food. So we left. She told us not to worry about "paying for anything else we ordered." Gee thanks...we had only ordered water. And not the fancy sparkling kind. The free kind, from the tap, that comes with your meal. As we left, the manager cheerfully thanked us for coming in, and said he hoped we enjoyed the lunch. If I hadn't been exasperated and in a hurry to get to Jimmy John's before our lunch break ended, I would have stopped to tell him that his waitress just screwed up our non-meal.

The entree I ordered (chicken pesto panini) was really heavy with cheese and oil (gross), the raw veggies on the side for dipping were wet (gross), and the service was freaking sloooooooow even with very few customers (urgh!). Gross + gross + urgh = not going back!

My first impression was, "Reminds me of BJ's in California." BEER BEER BEER BEER BEER...B...E...E...R...110 different kinds of BEER from all over the world. That was probably the only thing that fascinated me about this place. Check out the pictures of the food I tried, and I really don't even want to bother writing any details about anything else but the Thai Pie Deep-dish Pizza and the Lasagna. Thai Pie Pizza *Yum: slightly sweet, amazing crispy SESAME SEED crust, packed with toppings (chicken, mushrooms, red pepper, green onions, teriyaki, mozzarella, and cheddar), and very filling. Pasta Duo *Yum: The lasagna has the perfect amount of mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, and ricotta cheese and is smothered in a tasty marinara sauce. The chicken alfredo? Average. Monterey Chicken Calzone *Yuck: not enough sauce, served with guacamole and salsa, although I think it should have had extra marinara sauce instead. The spinach was not cooked all the way and did not compliment the other ingredients. No flavor. Grande Nachos *Yum: packed with toppings including black beans, anaheim peppers, red onions, tomatoes, cheese, cilantros, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and chicken...um, what else can you ask for on your nachos? The service was alright...according to my family the other locations of Old Chicago around CO Springs have MUCH BETTER service. Let's speak BEER: (I'm not of legal drinking age yet, so here are the remarks from my brother in law) (Germany) Ayinger Brau-weisse *YUMMM (England) Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale *YUCK but heck of a strong beer (Japan) Sapporo Lagar *YUM x2 (China) Tsingtao Lagar *YUCK tastes like carbonated water (America) Shiner Bock *YUM one of the best! The lasting impression? "I'd go back for the pizza...but at a different location of Old Chicago."

My husband and I frequent Old Chicago. We love the food and the beer and, when it is not Football season, the atmosphere. However, this location sucks! I have never once had good service here. I don't know what the managers do here (if they even have any) but they should take note because I have never had a bad expereince at any other location but this one! If you find yourself hungry downtown, go to one of the many other restaurant options you have. If you are going to go to Old Chicago DON'T go to this location!! There are at least 2 other locationsin town to choose from.

The restaurant foyer smelled terrible. We had to seat ourselves as well as wait for a clean table since they had not been cleaned. Ordered drinks didn't have any iced tea had to order different drinks. They brought us the wrong drinks then waitress recommended appetizers. The appetizers tasted awful the calamari was dry, old, and hard. The garlic cheese sticks had been soaked with olive oil naturally causing them to be soggy. They had no hamburgers to make the signature hamburger meal. We ordered pizza instead the waitress assured me I would be able to get a ground beef topped pizza. Pizza arrived she informed me the ground beef was under the cheese. That was a lie. No ground beef was on the pizza at all. We asked for the check. The manager brought it and asked how was the meal. I informed him of all my concerns. He apologized and offered to adjust the check. We accepted and he returned with an adjusted check. We paid and left. The next morning when I was going over my account I noticed the amount charged was the original amount and not the adjusted amount. I apologize for the sloppy description. Be warned the food was not good, customer service lacking, and the waitress and manager on that shift (last shift) dishonest. Will NOT be going back and will be calling corporate.

Had a good experience here yesterday. Service was pretty good, we were seated right away and our waitress did a solid job of keeping up. Food was decent. I had the stromboli (italian sausage) and it was what you expect. Did not try anything else. Limited data points, but at least with this one experience, it was a good outing. Not my preferred place downtown for pizza (that would be Il Vicino).

Great pizza, and the only nit pick I have is that there wasn't enough tomato sauce on the pizza. The waiter was great and the beer of the day turned out great as well - Laughing Lab. This was a good experience, which was necessary because the last one at this location was not.

Old Chicago's is sooo hit and miss. I hate it because when its good its good and when its bad, its horrible and I don't want to return. This restaurant HAD a great wait staff that would kick ass during happy hour and mini tour parties. Most of that staff has left and the service has tanked. This review encompasses several visits within the last year. The happy hour service seems to be fair and the food has been hot and good...just like a Old Chicago restaurant should be. Now if you go during a normal weekend lunch, this is when I've constantly experienced horrible service and average food. The last time I went was on a Saturday afternoon and we were one of probably 3 tables in our area. First of all...the food took forever. Second, I had to ask my server for a refill twice. Third, once I received my food...the fries were cold and soggy. Fourth, the server fled at which time I had to hunt down a bottle of ketchup. This type of service and food quality has been the theme to the downtown Old Chicago's and the Old Chicago's on Woodmen Rd. HEY CRAFTWORKS!!! Wake up and read this review please! I love Old Chicago's, but the ones in Colorado Springs are in need of an immediate revamp!

We love most Old Chicago locations but this one is the exception. The wait staff is always in the weeds and the kitchen is out of food that is commonly ordered like sausage, olives, and mushrooms. Their tables and carpet have seen better days. It's a shame to have this one location bring down the reputation of such a wonderful chain. Help them out please.

Waitstaff was great..very attentive. Food- pretty lame. Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. The new thin crust pizza was really greasy, even the crust was greasy. Little sauce and lots of cheap cheese topped it off. Disappointing......

So, the prices are decent and the food is OK, but don't go here expecting a Chicago style pizza. Like, the REAL kind of Chicago style pizza. I'm talkin heart of Chicago, Lou Malnati's send you to heaven, Chicago style Pizza. I'm from Michigan and I am a frequent visitor to Chicago, and one of the must-have's when I go is some pizza (I prefer Lou Malnati's, but thats just personal preference). When I moved to Colorado for school and I saw this awesome looking restaurant downtown, it was just a no-brainer to go in and try it out. Honestly, I thought that the inside was gonna be all done up nice and decorated and looking all cool and Chicago-like and I thought that I was going to be eating a real Chicago Style pizza....and that was not the case. It was a standard deep dish pizza. And I would have rather had a deep dish from Jets pizza than here. So this place isn't horrible. There is some decent food and not bad prices. Just don't go here expecting the Chicago experience or a really great atmosphere.

Waitress was nice but the service was horrible. The food tool forever to get to us and at one point I think they forgot about us. They even gave us a free appetizer and it took all night to get it. We even saw a whole family leave after they were there for a hour and never got there food. I'd skip this place if I were you, could ruin your day

Horrible. My wife and I got a medium Chicago 7 thick crust pizza for take out. It tasted like a frozen pizza. I honestly think a digiorno pizza might have been better. We've have Old Chicago pizza before, but at the one off Commerce Center Drive. The one off Tejon tasted nothing like what we remember. We are never going back.

Over-priced Pizza Hut is what this place should really be called. Their deep dish pizza was hardly deep at all. Sure they have a large selection of beer and most times that would be enough for me to throw in another star or two, but their pizza was a huge disappointment. I could eat their pizza with one hand; real deep dish pizza can only be tackled with a fork and knife. Not only that but their crust was yeasty and kind of grainy--not a fan. And the only reason I ate it was because I was really hungry. Southwest is having a deal on flights to Chicago. Maybe you all could take a trip and see what really deep dish pizza is all about.

Myself, wife and son sat there for 30-45 minutes without even being asked about drinks. I told the front hostess multiple times that we've been ready to order annnnd....nothing happened so we walked out. Great place if you have the day to burn I guess.

Our waitress was super friendly and catered to our constant order changes. I always feel bad when you have to deal with a group of indecisive college boys who are starving. Lebron James was making his "Decision" last night and it was packed with people all watching on the TV's for his switch from Cleveland to Miami. The service got slow at the end of our meal but Pub Quiz started so that luckily kept us occupied as we waited for our check. The food. Meh. Nothing special. Bland and tasteless. I really hate chain restaurants. Could have spent my money elsewhere but I caved when we all decided at the closest restaurant to our starving stomachs. Would come here for drinks and or a night of Pub Quiz. Other than that, won't be eating at Old Chicago.

No, it's not real Chicago pizza. But this is Colorado. What is nice about this place is the beer and the service. Don't be fooled, the food is wonderful to. The only complaint I have ever had was when the place was too busy and I had to wait 45min for a table.

I've been here several times over the past few years, it's prime meeting ground for Hubster and his buddies whenever we return to his hometown. Have never had a problem getting a table, but the service isn't exactly stellar. Kind of lazy. I-talian nachos are yumtastic, also their warm cookie thing with ice cream. I can't recall ever actually having a meal here.

Yeah, this is a chain restaurant, yeah, their corporate, all that stuff. The cool thing is that this Old Chicago was around before they were corporate, and some of that feeling is still there. It's downtown, in the heart of the other bars and restaurants, so there seems to always be a nice lively crowd here. Sundays you can watch football games from every market, so if your game isn't on regular tv, you may watch it at Old Chicago, and if you are lucky, maybe even watch it on one of the flat screens in the bar area. Also, if you ask for the football punch card, you earn punches towards free food every time you visit. On to the food...it's pretty good for bar food. I mean...this is a chain, wanna be Italian place, you shouldn't expect gourmet quality food, but I have never gotten anything here that made me say blech! And they are always good about substitutions. Also, don't forget about the World Beer Tour!

O.C. is usually a good standby for okay food, and not too expensive.

Old Chicago is Old Chicago. I'm biased towards the downtown location because it was the first O/C I ever went to and it hasn't changed much. Food okay, love the variety of beers available. Service consistently good. The giant cookie is great. Great place to watch hockey, the bar service is great.

The best pizza out here! It's the closest thing you're going to get to Chicago style pizza! That thick buttery crust reminds me of uno, the spicy pepperoni isn't something everyone has out here either.

Waitstaff was great..very attentive. Food- pretty lame. Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. The new thin crust pizza was really greasy, even the crust was greasy. Little sauce and lots of cheap cheese topped it off. Disappointing......

The crucial ingredient missing in this pizza buffet would be pizza. The buffet sat nearly empty for ten minutes over the lunch hour. Courteous service, great soup, no pizza.

O.C. is usually a good standby for okay food, and not too expensive.
